We believe that our Personal Training is a very cost effective method for most situations when compared to group training. This is largely because no two dogs learn the same way. Each dogs natural drives have different intensities. By tailoring a program specific for your dog we find that you can not only take advantage of your dogs uniqueness and help him learn faster but you will also build your dogs personality instead of suppressing it.

We offer the following types of personal training:

Obedience	Obedience training is one of the best things you can do for your dog and yourself. Obedience training doesn't solve all behavior problems, but it is the foundation for solving just about any problem. Training opens up a line of communication between you and your dog. Effective communication is necessary to instruct your dog about what you want her to do.
Problem Resolution	Very often dogs develop behaviors that are not acceptable. Many of these problems are not resolved by regular obedience classes and need some special attention to determine the problem.
Tracking	This is a special type of scent training. The TD, TDX, UTD and UTDX are some of the most exciting titles the CKC/AKC offers for your dog. The energy and focus required to track really redirects your dogs drives into positive desired actions. It is such a thrill to discover what you and your dog can do in this field.
Protection	Our canines are trained to pass the American Working Dog standards unless other standards are required (e.g., NAPWDA or USPCA). The K-9’s will be trained to perform advanced aggression.
Search & Rescue	Search and rescue dogs are the hard-working heroes of disaster relief, but it’s all a game to these talented canines. Finding a victim brings a reward – a hug, a treat, a tussle with a favorite toy. Dogs are trained to follow the scent in different terrain and weather conditions. Their skills are sharpened through regular training sessions and by handlers with daily training at home

You may learn to handle your own dog or have our instructor work with your dog. If you are solving home behavior problems it is important for you to learn to work with your dog.

All lessons are paid for in individual sessions, you can stop whenever you wish. Personal Training is scheduled by appointment only.

We charge $25.00 (CDN) for each half hour of training, however if the dog is particularly aggressive to the point where he is dangerous our rate may vary.
